Hello everybody,
Firstly I heve been looking for some place to discus about airshows and planes and maybe to promote the airshow with You probaby have newer heard about. I mean the Radom airshow in Poland with may be interesting for You becouse of the planes from the west and from the east. Unfortunatly the first information I have to give is that the crash has happend Belorusian Su-27 has fall down. Two pilots died. Hello everyone,

I've been away from the Internet for awhile now. It's too much to explain here. The rumors about me being dead (or in prison) are false. I've simply had some setbacks. I still love airshows and World Airshow News. I hope to do more article writing sometime in the future, but for now, most of the airshows in my area have been canceled indefinitely, so I have little to write about.

I'm looking forward to getting back in touch with all of my airshow friends very soon.

Anyone have a copy of the October issue they no longer want? I'll be happy to take it off your hands. The place here where I used to buy it, has decided to stop carrying the magazine, and the next closest place to get it, is an hour away. Would appreciate any help, thanks!

Just joined, but it looks like a lot of people look at the Message Board but don't add anything to it .

I cover most of the small Air Shows in Ohio, USA.

This past summer I went to 18,everything from the WACO Reunion in Troy, OH to E-Jet (Remote control Electric Models) in Grove City, OH

With the Air Show season over it time to hit the Internet to remember the past and look at the Future.

Question on posting photos, do you have to use a hosting site or is it direct insert?

hey all just joined up. been reading the mag for sometime, and just noticed the .com im an airplane geek in SE WI and attend the local airshows, (manitowoc, janesville, RFD,) as well as volunteering in warbirds at OSH. primary interests are warbirds, although anything with wings or wheels catches my attention. cant wait for next years show season. hopefully we wont see as many cancellations. good luck to all and check six

I know that world airshow news , airshow briefs went to on line but there have not been an update in like three / four months . Whats the deal? that was one big highlight that I looked for in every issue and I was sad to see it go , but when you get issue after issue and still no update on the website , whats going on ? not bitching just wondering .

Airshow Insurance or the lack of coverage?

I don't know if some of you have run into this, but I am finding that getting Airshow Insurance coverage to be getting much more difficult, and pricey. I was flying an Extra 300L that I sold in the first half of 06, with Airshow Coverage of $7,800 a year.

I am purchasing another Extra 300L that I will take delivery of in about a week or two, and the market I was in wont even quote it now. I have only found two markets to quote it so far, and one was at $10,800 and the other $15,200 a year.

Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

I'm writing this as an inquiry to see if you would be interested in receiving - and/or contributing to - our new e-newsletter. I propose starting a Professional Wingwalking International Newsletter (PWIN) via email. It is intended FOR experienced wingwalkers BY experienced wingwalkers. I envision an open email letter sent to everyone that qualifies as a professional wingwalker (requirements below) where we can all add our own experiences, stories, etc., so we can learn from each other or just enjoy the mutual commraderie. It is not limited merely to currently working wingwalkers, retired wingwalkers are very welcome as well. However, this is not for the novice or one-time wingwalkers/riders. It is also not about competing for work. It is to develop a fellowship of good will and we hope that within our group we can develop a healthy level of respect for each wingwalker and their particular portrayal of this amazing art form. This will not be a place for egos - remember, an experienced wingwalker will know a bluff when they read it. Requirements for wingwalkers wishing to take part in this new group follow: 1. Have performed as a wingwalker in airshows for at least two seasons, a typical season being defined as March through September or for those in the Southern hemisphere, September through March. 2. Have wingwalked (i.e., climbed from one place on a plane to another while the plane is in flight) without a parachute more than 10 times. (Exceptions can be made.) 3. Have access to a computer and the internet. I'm suggestioning this because I see a void of inspiration between "Masters of Wingwalking," if you will. We tend to all work, or have worked, in our own little geographical bubble, and the competition and focus on getting airshows seems to have shut doors between us. The on-line forums seem to trend toward questions from curiosity seekers or those with no experience seeking to become wingwalkers. This e-newsletter will be focused on the real experiences and issues that we as professionals deal with. I'm sure we all know someone that qualifies, that I've forgotten from our current list, so please forward me the names and email of anyone else you think of. It is not necessary to write stories or ask questions. You can particiapte by just reading too - we'll leave that decision to each individual. If you prefer not to participate at all and prefer to not receive any further correspondence with regards to PWIN, please let me know and I'll take your name off the list. If you like this idea, please respond to this email so that we can verify that we have your current email address correct and to make sure your name remains on our list. We envision putting together the newsletters on a once-per-month or once-every-two-months basis to start with, so you will not be inundated with numerous emails.
